Did you know? The majority of Ice Mountain Spring Water is sourced from three natural springs in the heart of Michigan: Sanctuary Spring in Rodney, MI; Evart Springs in Evart, MI; White Pine Springs in Evart, MI.

But we also source our fresh-tasting water from other states and selected springs in and around America’s heartland: Fontus Springs in Spencer, IN; Rolling Hills Springs in Spencer, IN; Rock Springs in Rock Springs, WI; Frontier Springs in New Tripoli, PA, Bangor, PA, Hegins, PA, South Coventry, PA, Pine Grove, PA, Newmanstown, PA, and Oakland, MD; Ruby Mountain in Chaffee County, CO; Stoney Creek Springs in Urbana, OH; Walnut Grove Springs in Bloomfield, IN.*

Evart Springs

Evart Springs flows into Twin Creek, a cold-water stream that runs through Evart before joining the Muskegon River, the second longest river in the state of Michigan. In the early 1800s, Osceola County earned the nickname "The Land of Green Gold" due to its beautiful timber resources and location in the heart of the lush forests. The history of Evart is deeply rooted in the logging industry and Osceola County's development can be attributed to its vast forests of timber, the waterways that facilitated transportation, and the arrival of the railroads.

White Pine Springs

White Pine Springs is situated in Osceola Township, approximately three miles north of Evart. The area is surrounded by rolling hills, woods, streams, lakes, and wetlands. The springs flow into two cold-water streams: Twin Creek and Chippewa Creek, both of which are tributaries of the Muskegon River.

Sanctuary Springs

Ice Mountain's Sanctuary Springs is in beautiful Mecosta County, Michigan, surrounded by lakes, streams, and recreational opportunities. When glaciers receded from Michigan, they left behind massive amounts of gravel, sand, and other deposits that formed the rolling hills and beautiful water resources of northern Michigan.

What Is Spring Water Anyway?

Ice Mountain® Spring Water originated thousands of years ago when the northern United States was covered in ice. As the glaciers melted over time, they created thick layers of sand and gravel aquifers that naturally filter groundwater. In some instances, this water found its way to the surface, forming natural springs. We have carefully selected these springs as the sources of our fresh-tasting drinking water.
